Thanks, a good reference.
However, I had already had a good dig in apache/conf and the mime
types and svg-xml are present (svgz is irrelevant in this case).
Again if the file type was unknown to either apache or the browser it
would not be able to display it when I open the image address
directly.
Most infuriating having to waste hours on this sort of misbehaviour.
