I will be using a TS-7260 with RS485 and SD socket as a datalogger for
an array of sensors in an avalanche start zone. The sensors will have
a digitzing board right next to them which will send the data via
RS485. Since I am new to both Linux and C (let alone serial port
programming), I don't know how to acquire the data from the sensors.
At first I just want to talk to one sensor before expanding the array
to 7 sensors. I know this should be fairly straightforward, so if
anyone can help me, or point me in the right direction, I would
greatly appreciate it.

Alec
