i just got my ts-bat3 installed, having some problems with it.

firstly

:charlie# insmod ./tsuart-bat3.o
./tsuart-bat3.o: init_module: Operation not permitted
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ
parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg

if i run it again

:charlie# insmod ./tsuart-bat3.o
:charlie# lsmod

fbgen 2944 0 [ts7300fb]

so it seems to have loaded the second time ?

but if run

./bat3 --charge 400

from the shell.

it'll lockup the system, i'm guessing i might have irq problems ?

hmm acutally i just tried ./bat3 --help and it froze solid too, might be an
issue with the
executable i downloaded from ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/bat3/bat3
i'll try compiling it up... the docs do say options are handled oddly, but
--help should be valid.

Also its a shame but with two stacked cards the enclosure no longer fits, its
about 3-4 mm off, its
probably possible to lower the standoffs by that much and squeeze it in, or i
could maybe remove the
top pass through connector.
