so since i didn't get any recommendations i went to frys and bought what they
had.
The two ISS devices i got appeared in lsusb, but a hcitool scan failed
(macsense and inland) seem to
be same internally.
The CSR device ( A syba 1.1 ) worked on all the tests i did so far.
The Broadcom chipset Zoom i had also failed both on scan and on a reboot
couldn't be seen again,
that one might need the specific broadcam driver and patches.
I tested them by rebooting, unplugging and replugging and the CSR was the only
one that passed the
test, running a scan etc, i have not done a pair yet, but the device i want to
pair hasn't arrived
yet, but at least it sees my two phones, and a mac laptop.
The syba is a fairly generic CSR chipset thats available on a lot of dongles, i
think it being 1.1
probably helped.
