I have tried Sarge also though not the one in images on the FTP server. I
think this is a
setting on my board or ROM version etc. Just not sure which.
Basically I connect the card to SUSE 10.3 unmount it from media then format it
as specified in
the Developer manual. I then use sudo the tar command (same as developer
manual with my
file name) I did not see errors in the untarring so I assume it is all there.
I then shut down
the linux box insert the CF card in my board and it starts to write garbage to
the terminal for
a bit then it freezes and proceeds no further. You can not logon or proceed.
When I use the
512GB card it scrolls garbage then prints the logon prompt in a readable line.
It is driving me insane. I think I am just missing one small step but have no
idea what.
