Hi Dan,

What did you have to patch in order to make IDE work? I've been trying to
get IDE working on 2.6.22 (for the TS-7800) and haven't had any luck -
everything compiles fine (after some work) but when I load the modules
they do not recognize any CF devices. (Also, they complain that the
parameters I pass are obsolete, which is troubling, because that suggests
in the future the drivers might not even work with IDE ports at
non-standard addresses...)

Also, I've noticed that the documentation for IDE seems to be out of date
in 2.6, both in Documentation/ide.txt, and in make menuconfig. The former
appears to be untouched since 2.4, still referring to loading ".o" modules
instead of ".ko", while the latter suggests in some cases that modules
will be built that aren't. (e.g. ide.o)

If you could post your patches that would be great; even though you have a
slightly newer kernel version perhaps they would be applicable or at least
suggest what I am missing.
