Hello,
I just receive a TS-7260, and I need to do some testing to see if it's
worth the price for an embedded system.

But first of all I try to change some environment variable, the PATH
So I look into any profile, login, no luck !

So After a few search I find a rcS.sysint that look like the init
script. So i change my PATH.No luck doesn't reflect a bit when I'm logind.

How can I change my damn environment variable in this OS ? I come from
Solaris en SGI and never have a trouble to do it.

Second question: since it's gona be an embedded system I can use any
USB, Flash or SD card to hold the Full debian version, so I will have
to stay with the TS linux.
But at least I need perl to be able to write some script on a web page.
where and/or how can I install perl in this hardware ?

thanks for you help, and I hope the message will go through the
Screening of the group owner, since the last time it doesn't and I
never knew why !!

regards,

arno
