I am still in a learning phase of this, but I believe I created an SD card following the instructions at:

Using the sdimage.dd.bz2 image will completely overwrite the card and make the appropriate partitions.  You only need to modify the partition 3 if your card is over 256 MB.  I believe 1GB may be the largest size you can use starting from the SD image due to cluster size differences.

I followed the instructions from the ARM Linux user manual but I think
there's something missing. The user manual instructs to format the
entire disk as ext2 (did that) und unzip the tarball with the debian
distribution (did that) but the SD card that shipped with the board has
three partitions and I think that's needed for anything to really work.
The tarball didn't seem to have the stuff needed to boot up the kernel.

Can someone please tell me how to set up a TS-7300 bootable SD with the
latest stuff from Technologic?

I was using fdisk and mkfs from Ubuntu 7.10 to set up the SD card. Any
particular options or concerns with that?
