You will need to use the rtc7800 utility on the board, as there are some
issues with the new rtc driver abstraction on the ARM platform.  The
utility talks to the RTC directly via user-space without a driver.

This utility takes no options to transfer RTC time to the system, and the
"-s" option to transfer system time to the RTC.
