Hi -
If you use ext2, you can use "tune2fs -i 0" to turn off date-based
triggers for fsck'ing. Or, use "tune2fs -T" to time-stamp the 'last
checked' time in your shutdown scripts, just before umounting, when
you have a valid system date.
