I'm kind-of stuck here, and would greatly appreciate any assistance.

I have a USB-serial device that my CentOS install will recognize as
being bound to the ftdi-sio module (which derives from usbserial).
Plugging it in will cause the ttyUSB0 device to appear, which will
work flawlessly.

However when I plug it into my WLAN box (TS-7400), kmsg will indicate
that it does not recognize the vendor/product. Fortunately, all of the
modules appear to be standard with the factory TSLinux, so I load
usbserial and ftdi-sio... But nothing happens. Shouldn't the module
pickup the device once it loads?

I also tried loading the usbserial module for the specific
vendor/product, but the device was unusable.

Dustin
