First of all, the information I've found in this group has been invaluable
getting me up and running with my TS-7260. Thanks!

Situation: I will be requesting/receiving data over the RS-485 port. This
data will be operated on then stored in a text file (a future version will
use some form of a SQL database). My desire then is to have a web interface
that will display formatted data and accept user entered data for certain
variables. The user will also retrieve a log file of the data gathered via
ftp.

Questions: Is PHP my best choice for running my dynamic web application.
Can I install PHP with the apache server running on TS-Linux, and if so,
should I use the latest version of PHP, i.e. compatibility issues? I will
need to make it secure for accessing over the Internet; any suggestions on
procedure or which technology to use? SQL suggestions (leaning towards mySQL
(is it compatible with TS-Linux?))?

Any tips, helpful advice, or alternative suggestions are greatly
appreciated!

Thanks,

Michael
