what is your power supply to the board?

is your board mounted in a TS  enclosure?

I ask this because if you are using a TS enclosure, then your input
power must be at least 18V DC. If you are powering direct to the
TS board than 5V DC works.

The fault you are describing sounds like an under voltage issue.

Yes. ;)

Seriously, there's not enough information to tell yet. Your
description shows that the TS-7300 is running it's firmware though.
