[ts-7000] How to write to flash on 7400

I'm confused about what I need to do to write a program to flash.  I've 
written an application and want it to be available when the board does 
fastboot.  I've tried the tsinit routine shown in the manual, but 
nothing seems to happen.  When I put in the commands by hand, I can 
mount onboardflash but can't copy from the usb drive.  Do I need to 
explicitly mount the usb drive first?
