I'm looking at a one-off kind of project. I have to turn some 120VAC
100W lights and 50W - 100W heaters on and off.

I can build everything into a central box, and then run 120VAC lines
out, but I wonder if anyone is aware of a wall-wart kind of thing that
plugs into a wall outlet, and then the appliance would plug into it,
and could be switched on and off via a 5VDC (or 12VDC, or whatever)
signal.

Sort of like this:

wall outlet <--+--> appliance outlet
               |
           ts7300 DIO
           control line

The idea is to have something that can be bought commercially and
presumably is UL listed and all, plus is smaller and looks cleaner
than a one-off metal enclosure.

Thanks,
