HI,

I am a newbie in Linux.

Downloaded cross compiler and compiled the kernel.
Tried loading through tftp.
Redboot> load -b 0x00218000 -h 192.168.1.3 vmlinux
using default protocol (TFTP)
Address offset = 0x40000000
Entry point: 0x00218000, address range:
0x00218000-0x003900 44
Then I deleted the existing linux and tried creating
with the new one.
Redboot> fis create vmlinux
can't locate 180000(1572864) bytes free in FLASH
as I have deleted the existing kernel in the FLASH,
now the system boots to redboot.

Could anyone help me please?
I have compiled the kernel from debian etch, 2.6.18.
Does it causes problem?
After compilation, I got two vmlinux. One executable(
about 2MB) and other .bin,(1.5MB) . I pasted both the
files in the tftp root directory

Can you send the vmlinux that was there in the Flash?
Your assistance would be most useful to proceed...

Thanks and Regards,
Madhi.
