Hi,

I am trying to set up TS-7400 as a WAP. It's main function will be to
serve as a WAP and mini-server for several laptops around it. This WAP
will not be used to provide internet access.

The only changes I have made is the /etc/sysconfig/ifcfg-wlan0 file.

DEVICE=wlan0
IPADDR=192.168.1.100
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=192.168.1.0
BROADCAST=192.168.1.255
BOOTPROTO=static
ENABLE=yes

ESSID=toto
MODE=Master
CHANNEL=6
KEY=s:1234567890

IWCONFIG_ARGS="essid ${ESSID} mode ${MODE} key ${KEY}"

My laptop, which is running Windows XP, is able to connect to the WAP
but that's about it. I cannot ping, telnet or ftp from the laptop to
the WAP. The IP of the laptop is 192.168.1.2. The netmask is
255.255.255.0. I left the gateway empty. I'm a newbie and so any help
is appreciated.

Thanks,
Han
