[ts-7000] TS7300 serial ports

Hello,

I'm outputting data from an atemga8 through a max232 to my computer,
and viewing the data on minicom. When I plug the serial cable into my
computer and view the data, everything is fine. But when I plug the
serial cable into COM3 of the TS7300 (using minicom as well) I receive
garbage. I've double checked the com speed, stop bits, etc, and they
are all the same between my computer and the TS7300. 

I'm at a loss why I can view data on my computer's minicom but the
data is corrupted on the TS7300's minicom. BTW I'm using ttyT8S0 for
COM3, which seems to be the one to use... anyone have any ideas?
