Hi,

Trying to follow
http://vaiprime.visibleassets.com/~cfriedt/linux-2.6.19-ts7xxx.txt but the
resultant kernel says my (ts7250) board isn't recognised:

RedBoot> load -r -b 0x00218000 -h 192.168.0.253 zImage
Using default protocol (TFTP)
Raw file loaded 0x00218000-0x00382b8b, assumed entry at 0x00218000
RedBoot> exec -c "console=ttyAM0,115200n8
ip=192.168.0.51:192.168.0.13:192.168.0.13:255.255.255.0:ts7250
nfsroot=192.168.0.253:/root/armroot init=/bin/sh"
Using base address 0x00218000 and length 0x0016ab8c

Please check your kernel config and/or bootloader.

(system halts here)

I have a ts7250 with 64MB ram, 128MB of flash and RTC (but no rs485 or
max127 ADC) - could these differences cause that message? Could having my
flash set to read-only (for testing) cause that?

According to arch/arm/tools/mach-types, 0x163 (355) is either a cx861xx or
a TS7400, so I hacked that file to accept my board as well. It no longer
spits out that error and seems to boot and mount nfsroot, but serial
console shows garbage and netconsole doesn't seem to start at all.

Any ideas of where to go from here?

Also, any chance of a newer discontiguous memory patch for 2.6.21 or more
recent kernels? The current one makes a bit of a mess of them
unfortunately.

I'm more than happy to read, so if I've missed useful info posted in the
past or there's a better place to ask or whatever, link me :)
