There is no source supplied for the sdcard driver, you can't just try and insmod it into 2.6.  copying .config from 2.4 to 2.6 also won't work.  Basically if you want 2.6 you need to wait or have some really in-depth knowledge of the kernel and such then write the required wrapper, or not have sdcard access.

iam familar with building Kernel for x86 arch, but for what i must pay 
attention on the arm? which is the right module for accessing the sdcard?
which emulation i must include ....
i guess that a copy of the 2.4 config into the 2.6 branch and make oldconfig
