The 7400 may not be the board you.  I would check and see if Cirrus' own
boards can be of use (e.g. the edb9302) or edb9301 (which exposes a lot
of gpio on 0.1" headers).

Alternatively, ask TS to put a wolfson codec on the next rev of your
daughter board.  The driver would be pretty straight forward.
