It allows you to view the Flash from within Linux. Then you just dd from the flash partition to a file. Eg. something like dd if=/dev/mtdpart0 of=vmlinux.bin bs=4k I would have thought redboot had commands to copy memory to a file ... but perhaps it'll be easier from Linux. Dave Yahoo!
