I'm not sure if this is something that I've mucked up in my kernel setups ect or not but when I boot Debian off CF or NFS on my 7200 I _must_ specify the IP for the ethernet as a kernel argument like this exec -c "console=ttyAM0,115200 root=/dev/hda1 ip=10.0.1.94::10.0.1.4:255.255.255.0" If I don't, I can't bring up the interface at bootup nor via "ifup eth0" I get this Configuring network interfaces...Operation failed. Failed to bring up eth0. Any idea's where I might have mucked up? Jason Yahoo!
