Does anyone have a recommendation for a WiFi Access Point product that
is compatible with the 7260 and suitable for outdoor use?

I have a isolated network (i.e. not connected to the internet) of
7260's that I would like to provide access to via WiFi. I want to be
able to connect to an AP attached to one of the 7260s and then have
network access to all of them.

I have several of the IOGear dongles that could theoretically be used
for this if they were protected from the elements, but their range
seems extremely limited, and they do not seem to operate very robustly.

I am running a Debian system with version 2.4.26 of the kernel that I
have built myself, that is based on ts11.

Reliability is the most important feature: I want to be able to
connect every time. Speed and Range are not nearly as important. We
will be fairly close to the AP (20-30 meters) and data rates will be
fairly low (a few kbps). Price is not terribly important.

If anyone has a particular product that they have had success with, I
would be most interested in hearing about it.

Regards,

jw
