Hi Martin

I don't know if you've resolved your problem, but I did things like you
said, following your instructions and it seems to work.

My board is a TS7200, running with an RT kernel ts8, and with file
system extended to RTAI (magma 3.2 already compiled).
I made my nvram module, then uploaded it to the board, copied it to
/lib/module/......./char, and then loaded it.

Your program in order to initialize nvram seems ok too, since I compiled
it on Windows+eclipse+cygwin+gcc-cygwin, like all my other applications.
Now I'm abble to write in nvram and read it like in a simple file.

I will certainly test by compiling again the kernel (instead of having a
module for nvram), but if I don't have any wierd linux error I think
there will be no difference.
