Use dd to write out the MBR/partition table and all three partitions.
Then mount the third partition and rm -Rf it, finally untar the
filesystem you would like(e.g. Sarge, woody, tslinux) to the third partition.
Keep in mind /etc/fstab will more than likely need to be modified.
