Hola Don.

mkdir: Cannot create directory `directorio': Cannot allocate memory

rm: unable to remove `archivo': Directory not empty

cp: Write Error: No space left on device.

Saludos
Rafael Mendez.

Sounds like you are trying to delete a directory, not a file.

To delete a directory, and all of the contents, use:

rm -r
(recursive)

or

rm -rf
(recursive, force) careful!

There is also and rmdir command to delete directories, but it will also give errors for non-empty directories, though there are options to override it.
