Roger: I was working with the TS7300 and we develop a GUI using GTK+, GTK+ is C oriented and I have skills with C, but I had never programed on C++ or Java (well, yes, a bit but a long time ago) so I don't fell i can give a fair opinion on this. I read QT is C++ oriented. If anyone can help us more on this matter I will appreciate it. About GTK+: You must understand first the glib library way of work (before this GUI application I never see glib before... after read some manuals it make sense), but I always think program a GUI with C it's like kill a fly with a ICBM. Yan: The third edition is for 2.6 kernels... In our case it's complicated because we work with 2.4 :S, but personally I choose the third edition and read some FAQs for the 2.4 Don: "Programming Embedded Systems with C and GNU Development Tools" Do you reed it? What do you think about it? It's worthy? On 2/19/07, Roger R. Smith <> wrote:
