Subject: | [ts-7000] ECC / Bad Block handling on TS-7250 NAND flash |

Hello, The TS-7250 uses a Samsung K9F5608U0B NAND flash partitioned for the TS boot loader, RedBoot, RedBoot config, Linux kernel, and YAFFS file system. During the boot process, the first four of these partitions are involved. How do these boot loaders (the TS boot loader and, especially, RedBoot) handle ECC and bad blocks? Is there code in RedBoot that does bad block handling / ECC for the K9F5608U0B? Can someone give me a pointer or two as to where to start looking? Thanks Scott Wagner Yahoo!
