Eddie, as mentioned in message 5274: we're using a 1GB UltraII SanDisk
SD-card. We will try another one as soon as we get our hands on one.
I'm able to read this SD card with a USB card reader on my debian box:

Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
scsi0 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
usbcore: registered new driver usb-storage
USB Mass Storage support registered.
usb-storage: device found at 3
usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning
Vendor: Multi Model: Flash Reader Rev: 1.00
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 00
usb-storage: device scan complete
SCSI device sda: 1984000 512-byte hdwr sectors (1016 MB)
sda: Write Protect is off
sda: Mode Sense: 03 00 00 00
sda: assuming drive cache: write through
SCSI device sda: 1984000 512-byte hdwr sectors (1016 MB)
sda: Write Protect is off
sda: Mode Sense: 03 00 00 00
sda: assuming drive cache: write through
 sda: sda1 sda2 sda3
sd 0:0:0:0: Attached scsi removable disk sda

And when trying to mount:

:~$ sudo mount /dev/sda3 /mnt
Password:
:~$ ls /mnt
bin dev home lib mnt opt root sys usr
boot etc initrd lost+found nfsroot proc sbin tmp var

So it works fine on my debian box...

wimpunk.
