Hi everyone,
I'd like my TS7300 start with the same IP at each boot.
By default, it gets the IP from our DHCP server at the startup.
In my PC I run netcardconfig for such changes. But 7300 doesn't have
it. In my PC I also have a file named
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-et0. But I couldn't find this
file either.
Therefore I added a new script named S90ifcnf in the /etc/rc2.d. In
that script I run "ifconfig eth0 10.1.1.202"
For now it seems OK, but I doubt if this is the proper way of doing it.
Any thoughts? (Mind that I'm not an expert :). )
Best regards,
Oguz.
