You could take a look at the Debian packages to get an idea of how much
space is required as it would depend upon what Python packages you need.
We installed Python on one of our customers boards, IIRC we added Python
and Python-Serial to TS-Linux. I believe the Python packages and all of
the dependencies required around 20MB. This included all of the
documentation and examples...
