Subject: | [ts-7000] TS-7400 & Linux Latency? |

Hi folks, I have a RS485 device that requires 2ms max response time. I am considering the TS-7400. So master polls and I need to respond no more than 2ms. The response would be queued prior, so it's just a matter of copying a buffer and sending. What sort of latency could I expect to see? Is the latency deterministic? How would Ethernet or USB activity affect this? Can I shift kernel task priorities around? Thanks, Joel Yahoo!
