:-) My boss is firmly in the ladder camp. He understands it much
better than I do... From the field perspective, ladder is going to
be with us for a long time. But the newer PLCs use a structured,
object aproach, so PLCs are merging.

Hmmm..... Is there any interest in a 7300 - PLC interface? We're
having TS build an opto-isolation board with RS485, RS232, and 16 IO,
as well as an LCD interface, and I'd love to have some cost
sharing.... :-)
