I posted awhile ago about a bricked TS-7260. The saga continues. Since then
I've ordered and received a second unit and a TS-9420. The latter coming with
frustratingly little information. Eddie has been most helpful in providing
assistance, modules and advice but I'm still having difficulties.
To date I've set up an NFS server with the Debian OS from the SDCARD. Some
slight modifications have this booting with the TS-9420. Unfortunately this
version of the OS does not have modules for the flash on the TS-7260. These
have been provided and I'm able to load them. However when trying to DD the
default images back onto the TS-7260 I encounter errors.
These are typical errors:
nand_erase: attempt to erase a bad block at page 0x0000e9a0
mtdblock: erase of region [0x30000, 0x4000] on "RedBoot" failed
end_request: I/O error, dev 1f:05 (mtdblock), sector 712
nand_erase: attempt to erase a bad block at page 0x0000e9a0
mtdblock: erase of region [0x30000, 0x4000] on "RedBoot" failed
end_request: I/O error, dev 1f:05 (mtdblock), sector 713
Has anyone run into these while trying to write to the Redboot partition? Any
solutions? I have queries into support but would welcome any other ideas.
Anybody have a YAFFS module for the TS11 version of the kernel?
