I has a system where I have several TS7200 SBC on a network. My
system server runs DHCPD and sets all sets the ip address and also
carries the kernel filename and path to the nfsroot diectory
structure.
With my current server at 192.168.0.230 and the TS7200 configured to
use bootp data.
After the SBC comes up and has it's IP assigned via bootp I can
manually execute -
load -r -b 0x00218000 -h 192.168.0.230 vmlinux
exec -c "console=ttyAM0,115200 root=/dev/nfs nfsroot"
As everything works fine, so I know the kernel is getting the bootp
data passed through but ..
At some point in the future I may wish to change the kernel on some
(but not all) of the SBCs, I can take care of this in the DHCPD
config file by changing the filename option for the SBCs I wish to
change but...
How do I get the load command to pick these changes up from bootp?
I suppose it's something like
load -r -b 0x00218000 -h <Server address from bootp> <kernel name
from bootp>
exec -c "console=ttyAM0,115200 root=/dev/nfs nfsroot"
But I cannot find out what data I get from bootp that I can use in
the load command.
Any information would be much appreciated.
