Thank you both for the help.  However, I had lots of problem trying to
load Sarge from the USB stick (used the tar on the cd-rom), I
downgraded the crosscompiler to the 2.2.5 version and after some work,
I got CommonCPP to work on the 7250. 

Now the objective is to have GNUPLOT to work with png.
