You have to tell us what you need to do. There are many standard protocols that require no programming, such as ftp for transfering files, but you will likely need to write custom programs that use sockets in C to run on the SBC, then communicate via the PC using sockets. You should forget using Visual Basic and also consider running Linux on the PC. Don.
