Ok, I am still doing research, I am planning on using a chip with a
serial interface, and puting it on a daughter board above a 7400. It
would be nice to have a solution supported by TS, but I know they
aren't super human and can't do everything.
One option is: Maxstream XBee ZigBee OEM RF Module, which appears to
be $19 in single unit quantities:
