Sorry I am not clear. I normally use COM1 to login with the jumpers set at #2
and #3 in
that configuration with " T1:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyAM1 115200 vt100"
commented
out in the /etc/inittab file I just get zero data.
I temporarily set the jumper to #2 and #4 to see if anything could use COM2, in
that
configuration I could see the console but it wanted a password to login
(something the
same system did not want on COM1, I found that bizarre.
I could not login using COM2 as the console and connecting the GPS to COM1 as
it wanted
a password and I do not have one set. This prevented me from seeing if it was
code or
port.
