Thank you. I hadn't downloaded the manual for the Cirrus chip. That
is a wealth of information.
As for the USB, I notice that the TS-7260 is capable of powering down
all the external ports (ethernet, USB, serial, etc.) to reduced power
consumption but maybe the TS-7300 is not? From the schematic the USB
port appears to be connected directly to fused 5V. That is an error
on my part... I should have checked on this more carefully.
