Subject: | [ts-7000] RTC on TS-7260 |

We have a TS-7260 that was deployed on a buoy for a month. After retrieving the buoy, we were dismayed to find that the real time clock on the board had failed (obviously making much of the data it collected unusable). The boot ROM no longer detects it as being present, whereas before it would always say that a TS-5620 was detected. We also found that there was some sort of power problem that caused the board to reboot numerous times. Yet, there seems to be nothing else wrong with the board. Just the RTC. Is it possible that the RTC is just in some sort of weird state, like maybe the NVRAM on it got corrupted, and that it could be re-initialized somehow? Thanks for any input or suggestions. Yahoo!
