Subject: | [ts-7000] SMBFS support |

After a lot of experimentation, I successfully compiled Samba 3.0.22 from source, and I'm using it to share some directories on a USB hard drive through my TS-7260. However, what I would really like to be able to do is to mount remote directories within the TS-7260's file system hierarchy. However, the man page for smbmount contains the following caveat: This command only works in Linux, and the kernel must support the smbfs filesystem. Does anyone know if "smbfs support" as stated here can be built through a kernel module? Conversely, does anyone have experience in rebuilding the TS-Linux kernel and including smbfs support?
