Hi Roy,

What I'm currently doing of a simple encoder test application on the
7300 is using Timer 4 which is a free running 983.04kHz counter. I
read the encoder and timer to enable the samples to be timestamped
more accurately.

There's a bit of sample code in the files section (add O_SYNC to the
O_RDWR).

There is also information in the files section on the 1024Hz version
of the kernel (I don't know how recent it is...).

Regards,

PJE
