You really should make that library available on the board. What I did was copy some missing librarys from the tool chain and strip them. As I recall, some of the C++ stuff was missing, and also for threads. We should get TS to put all of the extra libraries on the web site so we can grab them when needed. I think they were trying to save space, and they only put the popular libraries.
On many systems, you have to run ldconfig after installing libraries, but I think on the 7260, it is not necessary. You can also create you own libraries, but in that case, you need to copy them to the tool chain library directory, and to the board. Works great.
