You might need to run ldconfig to add your library to the set of searched libraries. If you want to put your personal libraries in /usr/local/lib, you often need to add that path to /etc/ld.so.conf.

If you still have problems, try to give us a more detailed description of the problem, including the exact error message, and the program that gave that error, such as gcc.

But it also look for the library even though I had install it.
