Are you using the ./ in front of the executable that Peter showed in his example?

hi Peter,
thanks for your reply.
I compile the program in the usr directory: gcc -o b.out hello.c
I use chmod
when I execute the program I get this error:

bash: /bin/b.out:  No such file or directory.

please help
