[ts-7000] ts-7250 : recover (re-flash) root FS from redboot?

How is this accomplished?  The instructions of using dd in the shell
on the unit did not work and now I have a root FS that is in an in a
"bad" state.

Surely there is a way to write the image from redboot, yes?
