You can "cat /dev/ttyAM1" to test reception. Probably "cat filename
> /dev/ttyAM1" to test transmission although I haven't tried it.
Make sure you set the correct baudrate which can be done with "stty -
F/devttyAM1 9600" for 9600 baud. However, stty isn't included on the
TS7250 file system (at least not mine) so my solution was to mount
my host utilities and use the stty that was included there.
