If disk space is a concern (and physical space is not)another option 
is to use an external hard drive. I'm working now to get set up to 
boot from an external 80GB USB drive that I bought for under $100 
US. I have the complete development system installed with plenty of 
room to spare :-)I'll be using this for home automation/web server.
